Key Stages

Key Stage 3

Pupils follow the Northern Ireland Curriculum for Mathematics. They are taught in classes which are streamed so that pupils experience a suitable level of mathematics. In Year 10 pupils sit the CCEA Key Stage examinations. The exam is usually held at the start of May and consists of two written papers and a mental maths paper.

40% of GCSE Mathematics Assessment

Modules are taken throughout Years 11 and 12 with a chance to resit modules when suitable.
