The Board of Governors provides strategic leadership to St. Patrick's & St. Brigid's College. They are responsible for making sure the school provides good quality education and that finances and resources are managed effectively. The Board of Govenrors is:
-Accountable for the performance of the school.
-Plans the school’s future direction.
-Carefully monitors the school budget.
-Makes decisions on staffing and staffing levels.
-Ensures the curriculum is broad, balanced and ambitious.
-Monitors how the school provides for all its pupils, including those with special educational needs.
The Board of Governors is made up of Foundation governors, parent and staff representatives as well as the Principal.
The Board of Governors usually meets at least once per term.
